Marine detailing FAQs
Where do you detail boats?
At your marina, dock, driveway or storage yard across Hampton Roads and the Outer Banks, where access and site rules allow. We confirm marina permission before scheduling.
What marine services do you offer?
Washing and detailing, gelcoat oxidation correction, System X ceramic coating, plus interior and cabin care.
How long does a boat detail take?
It depends on length, condition and services. We'll give you a time estimate with your quote.
What's included in a marine detail?
Scope is set per vessel: exterior wash, hull and deck, brightwork, glass, and cockpit or cabin areas you choose. We list it in your quote.
Is marine ceramic coating worth it?
Coating makes salt, grime and water spots easier to wash off and helps protect gelcoat from UV fading.
Can you remove oxidation from gelcoat?
Often, yes. We assess the finish first. How much improves depends on its condition, and some damage needs repair beyond detailing.
How often should my boat be detailed?
Most owners schedule regular washes in season. We'll recommend a plan based on where you keep it and how often you run.
How do I request a quote?
Tap Request a quote, or text or call (757) 689-9821 with the vessel type, length, location and a few photos.
