How much does the PCS Ready Package cost?
PCS package prices are $349 for a coupe, $379 for a sedan, $429 for a mini SUV or crossover, and $479 for a large SUV or truck. Optional add-ons and any applicable discounts are confirmed when booking.
Does detailing guarantee my car will pass the shipping inspection?
No. Detailing helps prepare the vehicle for the cleanliness review, but your vehicle processing center or shipping provider makes the acceptance decision. Follow its current instructions, including destination-specific requirements.
How far ahead of vehicle turn-in should I book?
Book as soon as you know your turn-in window. Tell us that window so we can plan the service and allow drying time after interior cleaning. Drying depends on the vehicle, weather and treatment; seats, carpets and mats must be dry before shipment.
Do you offer a military discount?
Active-duty customers receive 10% off with military ID. A 15% discount is also offered on a second vehicle. Ask us to confirm eligibility, discount scope and whether offers can be combined before booking.
Can you detail my vehicle on base?
On-base service can be arranged subject to installation access, permission and a suitable work area. Share your general service location when contacting us. Off-base service is also available.
What should I remove before a PCS car detail?
Remove personal belongings and trash from the cabin, storage areas and trunk so we can reach the surfaces being cleaned. For shipping, check the current rules from your vehicle processing center about permitted items and required documents.
Is this package only for overseas vehicle shipping?
No. The PCS Ready Package can also help prepare your vehicle for storage or a drive to your next duty station. Tell us your plan so we can discuss cleaning, protection and timing.

The math: one dead battery plus light mold is about $500, more than 9 months of Standby care ($405). One rodent wiring repair can top 9 months of Ready care. And that's before the hassle of a car that won't start on homecoming day.

How it works
Before you leave, we meet you (or your spouse or parent), photograph the car, and sign your keys into our key custody log. You sign the authorization, which says start-only or short drive allowed.
Fill the tires to spec. Start and run the car so the battery stays charged. Ventilate the cabin, swap the moisture absorbers, and check for mold, leaks and pests.
After each visit you get photos of the dash, tires and interior plus a short note by text or email. Your family can get a copy too.
Your car is ready, detailed if you add Welcome Home Ready. We return your keys in person and both sign the key log.

Prepaid deployment bundles (Welcome Home included):

If your deployment is cut short or canceled, unused months are refunded prorated.

FAQ
Where can the car be? Off-base homes, apartment complexes and family driveways anywhere in Hampton Roads. On-base housing and base lots depend on the installation's access rules, so tell us where the car is and we'll confirm before you sign up. We don't service cars inside the NEX long-term lot.
Do I have to be there? No. You sign an authorization before you leave and we handle the rest. Your spouse or parent can be the local contact.
What happens to my keys? Each key gets a tag with a code number, never your name or address, and goes into our locked key box. Every time a key goes in or out, it's written in the key custody log with the date, time, who and why. Keys come back only to you or the person named in your authorization, with ID and a signature. Spare keys are best. We never make copies.
Insurance? Keep at least comprehensive coverage on the car. If you want us to drive it, it needs active liability coverage that allows another driver, and you must authorize it in writing. Otherwise we only start and idle it. Shine My Ride 757, LLC is licensed and insured.
What if my deployment changes? Pause or cancel with one text. Prepaid months are refunded prorated.
Boats? We're looking at boat care too (battery, bilge and cover checks). Tick the box on the form to be first in line.
