Coating day: what to expect
Time on site
Larger vehicles and paint correction take longer. We confirm the time when you book.
What you provide
A spot where we can work safely around the vehicle, ideally shaded or a garage. We confirm any water or power needs when you book.
Prep
We wash, decontaminate and inspect the paint, polish or correct as needed, then wipe the surface clean so the coating bonds properly.
Aftercare
Keep it dry and skip washing for the cure time we give you. After that, use touchless washes and avoid automatic brush washes. Ask us about maintenance visits.
What coating does and doesn't do
It does
- Add deep gloss and make paint easier to clean
- Help water and dirt release from the surface
- Add a protective layer against salt air, UV, bird droppings and road film
It doesn't
- Make paint scratch-proof or stop rock chips
- Remove swirls on its own (that's paint correction)
- Replace regular washing
